Anticipating the Big Eclipse

I just received this filter Friday, but I plan to use it over the weekend to get used to it before I shoot the Total Eclipse in April.

I looked through it at the sun, and it's beautiful.

Worked great for the annular eclipse!

I was able to take beautiful pictures of the annular eclipse with my Nikon P1000. I did have to adjust the fit of the filter so that it would fit tightly over the extended zoom lense, which is about 90mm wide, I just added a strip of fleece fabric around the inside of the opening with tape and it fit perfectly over the extended lense.
