Rainbow Symphony’s linear 500 line/mm slides are ideal for a number of applications. Paired with an overhead projector or 35mm slide projector, you can easily use our slides for classroom presentations. Additionally, you can use our color film gels for unique filtering effects and further study.

They work just the way I wanted . . .

First off, this Rainbow is the only source I found for these diffraction gratings outside of China.

But more important: It produced the effect that I was hoping for - Which this photo shows.

Diffraction slides

We use the 500 line gratings in a spectroscopy demonstration with high voltage gas tubes. 500 mm is the perfect resolution for our demos. Higher resolution does not work for our demo.
